A small, mixed-age program for children 18 months – 4 years, rooted in nature, rhythm, and the gentle pace of early childhood.

Rosebrier is a home-based preschool and nursery program in Northeast Portland's Roseway neighborhood. Our days are shaped by seasonal rhythms, imaginative play, shared meals, and time outdoors — guided by Waldorf-inspired principles and a deep respect for early childhood.

Each child here is genuinely known. We keep our group small to foster connection and allow for gentle transitions, so learning can unfold at its own pace.

A Glimpse of the Day

Our mornings follow a gentle, predictable rhythm — free play, circle time with songs and stories, outdoor exploration, a shared meal, and rest. That rhythm anchors the day and leaves room for the unexpected.

Childhood isn't a race. There's trust that they'll learn at their own pace, through exploration and play.
