Rosebrier Early Childhood was founded on the belief that early childhood deserves its own kind of care, unhurried, relationship-centered, and rooted in the real work of daily life.
We are a home-based program serving children from toddlerhood through the preschool years. Our approach draws from Waldorf traditions, teachings from Lifeways North America, and a broader philosophy of simplicity in childhood.
About Rosebrier
Our caregiver :
Caroline Simpson
Caroline founded Rosebrier after several years building a Waldorf-inspired and nature-based nanny pod that grew into a close early childhood community. Rosebrier became a licensed program in Fall 2025.
Her approach reflects her background in early childhood education and the arts and humanities. She continues her professional growth through Lifeways North America, on-site observations at schools such as Rose Rock Waldorf School, and curriculum communities including Wondergarten and the BEarth Institute.
Caroline holds a B.A. from Connecticut College, is certified in Child CPR, First Aid, and Food Handling, and has completed all Oregon state-required coursework for licensed providers. A lifelong musician, she integrates singing, rhythm, and storytelling into every day.
She lives in Portland's Roseway neighborhood with her husband and three children.
